Our Story
Our story began in the 1950s when our grandfather, John Newcomb, started working in the tree service industry. In the 1980s, our father, Ralph Newcomb, established Newcomb Tree Experts, passing down his knowledge and passion. Today, our family business continues to thrive, with our father still active as a consultant alongside our brother Levi.

We conduct OSHA training and adhere to Cal OSHA laws for tree trimming, complemented by our own in-house safety program available in English and Spanish. "We know our team. Every person on our projects is a paid employee, insured and trained by us. We own the entire safety culture and training," says Marcie Newcomb, Human Resource Specialist, and Howdy Newcomb's wife.

"We also conduct fire mitigation work for PG&E, using state-of-the-art equipment, techniques, and products to ensure safety and efficiency," says Howdy. Our team is trained with firefighting equipment, carrying these tools for both residential and private work.
